As a Bradley Beach resident, I am curious about your lack of coverage on the recently proposed ordinance that will ban smoking east of ocean ave. This is a serious issue that, to my knowledge, did not have a public referendum. This is a serious issue in town, and is lacking in coverage, as it will have a tremendous impact on the community in the coming months. I hope your publication takes it seriously enough to report on, since no one else is.
Regards,
Joe Peters
Well first thank you for you letter to the editor
I have many questions?
#1 Will we hire Smoking Cops to check the visitors to the our beaches?
#2 Now when did we elect other to stop us from doing legal things?
#3 Will we save any money by this or is this just grandstanding on Good Health?
#4 Will we give out special permits so some can smoke on the beach?
