To me he was a friend, a chief, a mentor, but most of all a great man, he is in heaven marching in the grand parade that welcomes new angels everyday. Today the parade had a honor guard made up of the local 50 PBA members and The Bradley Beach Fire Department, Robert (Bob) Hughes was the grand marshal followed by the sounds of pipes and beating of drums.
Rest In Peace Robert (Bob) Hughes job well done faithful servant.
