Shakespeare comes alive at Bradley Beach Gazebo! pt 1

Where are you? Well for about 2 hours you may have felt like you were sitting along side William Shakespeare. Yes I know he is dead but his words were very much alive at the 5th ave. gazebo in Bradley Beach last night as Arts At The Beach . Org held their first Shakespeare at the beach event with scenes from THE TEMPEST and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM.
The Players:
Jennifer McDowell (Ariel, Helena) A recent graduate of the Circle in the Square Theater School in New York City. She said she was delighted to be sharing the stage with her old college buddies once more!

Julianna Stanford Nagy (Miranda, Hermia) A graduate of both Brookdale CC and Montclair State University. She is the Director of Arts Education at The Algonquin Arts Theater.

Reuben Nagy (Ferdinand, Demetrius) He is the Supervisor for Monmouth Christian Academy. When Not teaching in the classroom he can be found teaching acting/improvisation classes and theater workshops at the Algonquin Arts Theater.

Jason Piskiel (Caliban, Lysander) he is a Bradley Beach resident and thrilled to be in the inaugural cast of Shakesspeare At The Beach. Jason studied acting at Brookdale Community College.

Ellpetha Tsivicos (Puck) She is a recent graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She was excited to be performing back home with this great group!

Rae Tutela (Narrator) She is The leading lady of Bradley Beach Tourism Commission and a gifted actress who has had the leading roles in musicals: Gypsy, Sweeney Todd, Nunsense.

Julia Sandra Rand (Prospero, Stage Director) She has a gift that for many who know and love her are glad she has brought back home to Bradley Beach. Julia has studied Shakespeare with the Royal Shakespeare Co and many others. Julia is the daughter of the late Phil and Eve Yanowitz and left home for Broadway and the big city life but now has returned to the small hamlet of here childhood to bring Arts to the people. Julia is a member of (AEA, SAG, DG) and her credits include Off-Broadway, Film and TV as well a being a great writer with works like Sunrise, Sunset or Breakfast with Julia.
